Our Company Policies: Additional Drivers All additional drives must be 25 years of age or older, appear at the rental counter with the primary renter, must present a valid driver's license. An additional fee may apply for any Additional Drivers. Additional Miles A minimum of 20¢ will be charged per mile that is used that exceeds miles allowed pre-rental agreement. Some vehicles may be subject to a higher fee Age Requirement The primary renter of the vehicle must be 25 years of age or older. All drivers must show a valid driver's license at time of rental. Renters from age 21 to 24 only may rent if they are current members of the US armed forces, additional daily fee may apply. Cash Rentals Cash Rentals are not allowed. Credit Cards At the time of rental, the renter must present the actual credit card used for each transaction, with available credit, in their own name, and the signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card. In addition, the number printed on the card presented by renter must match the number stored for the reservation transaction. Debit Cards A debit/check card is considered to be any non-credit card bearing the VISA, MasterCard or Discover Card logo. And transactional made with a debit/check card may require minimum $300.00 hold on the card. Gas All vehicles are rented out full of gas and renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas or pay at the end of the rental for gas replaced. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices plus and additional $20.00 service charge. Insurance If the renter declines the coverage offered by Laz Auto Rental & Sales, the renter must provide proof of automobile insurance coverage at the time of rental. The renter's insurance policy must include full coverage (comprehensive and collision) insurance to cover the rented vehicle and its occupants. Personal automobile policies and coverages offered through credit cards do not cover rental at full coverage level. Collision damage waiver may be available for purchase at our rental counter to those who qualify. This coverage will include a collision deductible. In the event of an accident, payment of this deductible will be the responsibility of the renter. Internet Pricing Prices are subject to change without notice, only pre-paid rentals may lock rates. Late Charges Rates are subject to change if vehicle is not returned on the date and time agreed upon at the time of the reservation and rental. Minimum Rental Period Any rental less than 24 hours will be changed a full day's rate. Off Roading and Towing No off-roading and towing are permited in any vehicle durring time of rental. One Way Rentals One-way rentals are not allowed. Pick-Up Free customer pickup is subject to an 8 miles radius of rental location, a fee may be applied if customer pick up exceeds pickup limit. Rates vary call for details. Rentals to Mexico Special Mexican Insurence Coverage is requierd to purchase from Laz Auto Rental & Sales. Rental may be subject to a deposit, renter must provide a major credit card, Rental vehicle is only perrmited in the Mexican state of Sonora. Responsibility for Rental Vehicle Renter responsible for the safe return of the rental vehicle in the same condition as it was rented. Renter is responsible for all damages, including loss of use, should the vehicle be damaged in an accident, stolen or vandalized. This is the case regardless of fault. Whether who is at fault in the accident, the renter may be asked to pay for the damage up to and including the total cost of replacing the vehicle in case of a total wreck or loss. Be sure any estimated damage to the vehicle has been recorded properly before leaving the rental location. Roadside Assistance All vehicles rented by Laz are still under factory warrantee and are transferred to only primary renter. Primary renter is covered under premium roadside only under duration of rental agreement, coverage varies by automotive manufactures. Roadside only covers manufacturers defects. Smoking All vehicles are non-smoking and are subject to a deodorizeing fee if been smoked in.
